K-Motion/On Base U

K-Motion Program Overview

3D True Solutions, led by Danny Rivera, uses K-Motion and OnBaseU to provide data-driven athlete assessments and individualized development plans. By analyzing how an athlete moves—not just the outcome of a swing or throw—we identify movement patterns, physical limitations, and training priorities that help athletes build more efficient mechanics, confidence, and long-term performance.

K-Motion is used to measure an athlete’s movement patterns through wearable sensors and biomechanical data. The purpose is to move beyond opinion-based coaching by identifying how an athlete creates movement, transfers energy, rotates, sequences the body, and where physical limitations may be affecting performance.

The assessment can help identify:

  • Movement inefficiencies in the swing or throwing motion
  • Sequencing and timing issues between body segments
  • Pelvis, torso, and upper-body rotational patterns
  • Mobility or stability restrictions that affect performance
  • Opportunities to improve power, consistency, command, and durability
  • Individualized drill and strength priorities rather than generic programming

OnBaseU Integration

OnBaseU adds a physical-screening component to the movement analysis. This helps determine whether an athlete has the mobility, stability, strength, and movement capacity needed to perform the mechanics being coached.

The combined approach is:

  • K-Motion Assessment
  • Measures real movement data during baseball or softball actions
  • OnBaseU Screen
  • Identifies physical limitations, mobility needs, and movement capacity
  • Coach Evaluation
  • Connects the data to baseball or softball skill development
  • Individual Plan
  • Gives the athlete clear drills, training priorities, and retesting benchmarks.

Core Message for Parents and Athletes

Technique Tigers is not using K-Motion simply as a technology feature. The goal is to give each athlete a clear understanding of how their body moves, what may be limiting performance, and what they can do to improve.

Every athlete develops differently. K-Motion and OnBaseU allow us to meet athletes where they are, use objective data to guide instruction, and build a personalized path toward stronger, more efficient performance.
